This program provides a wide variety of experiences and serves a diverse patient population. The resident will work closely with pharmacists specialized in ID and highly qualified clinical pharmacists in other specialties. The ID residency is composed of three major elements: Development of clinical skills associated with ID pharmacy practice, institution-wide management of antimicrobial stewardship interventions, and advancement in communication and research skills.

Rotational opportunities involve a multidisciplinary approach and include infectious diseases consult services (general ID and immunocompromised ID), antimicrobial stewardship, academia, microbiology, solid organ transplant, and more.

JMH serves patients from across the globe and is a major trauma and transplant center. Through these rotations, the resident will care for patients with complex and unique infectious diseases, developing expertise in management of complicated infections.
